My install method

Benefit: Lots more bashing protection.
Part Number For The Roll Cage: Part # rollcage001
Total Install Time: About 5 Minutes (using the zip method)

First Impressions: I was happy to see the package in the mail. I opened it up and gave it a good
looking over. The welds were very clean which kinda surprised me. Welding on something this
small isnt the easiest thing in the world. The cage looked kewl and seemed to be strong. All that
was left was to bash on it.

Assembly: N/A. You get a roll cage, what more could there be?

Installation: The cage goes on easy enough. I opted for the zip tie method but used my own ties
and didn't to it like the instructions said. Sure I could have used the included zip ties or I could
have used the screws and nuts to install it, but those are far superior to my crappy weak zip ties.
I wanted to see how well it would work in a worst case senario. The install was a piece of cake
though. No problems what so ever.

Performance: I was slightly sceptical on how well R/C Ravens cage was going to hold up to
my non straight line driving skills. If you have seen any of my videos you will notice I drive a lot
without my body on. This makes having a cage much more important. So, after plowing a nice
sized piece of yard (there is a load of snow here) I went out and did some testing. I did high
speed rolls, small jumps that didn't land and sent the maxx end over end, and countless other
screw ups to get the Addicts Maxx on its lid. After all was said and done, the cage remained
in place on the chassis. The zip ties held up to the abuse. The cage did have some cratches
but it had no dents, no broken welds, no bent parts, or any other major defects. How well did it
protect the trucks vitals you ask? Wonderfully. The cage kept the fuel tank from touching when
upside down. The engine head was also protected very well. My body mounts took a beating, but
any time I go on my lid they take it, so that's not a big deal. I also found it nice that the truck
will sit on the roll cage and nothing else touches the ground. On a side note, you can use the
cage as a carrying handle. Thats a nice feature.

Likes: The protection is top notch for being a small cage. It works well with my stock body and
Pro Line F-350 body. Its very very durable and the welds are awsome. It looks like a roll cage
for a real monster truck when installed on the T-Maxx and I
really like that! Even the instructions
were top notch with color pictures.

Dislikes: Hmmm, when I find something to dislike I will tell you.

Comments: Its light and it works. R/C Raven is providing great protection at a good price. The
cage takes a good beating and comes back for more. The way it makes the Maxx look like a
real monster truck is very cool also. So if you are like me and don't like to keep a body on your
Maxx, plain need the protection, or want to make your Maxx look more like a real monster truck,
give R/C Raven a go, you wont be sorry!
