Tube Brake Mod
Benefit: Makes for better brakes.
Part Number For Fuel Line: N/A Find It At Your Local Hobby Shop By The Foot.
When you start looking for stronger brakes, take a look at the silicone tubing on
your brake linkage. This flimsy fuel line works, but bigger fuel line works much
better. Get yourself a piece of new fuel line that is the same size as you normal
T-Maxx fuel line. Cut a chunk the same size as the line that you take off your
linkage. Once you get a chunk the right size, put it on and make any needed
ajustments to your brakes. The reason this will get you harder brakes is because
the bigger fuel line don't compress and collapse as easy as the smaller stuff. This
equal more pressure being applied to your brakes. This is super easy and got
me brakes hard enough to put my Maxx on its nose. The most you should have
into buyin fuel line is $4 unless you are buying loads of it or are getting it online
(those darn shipping charges will get you everytime). Please remember that my
results might not be the results that you get, but you should see positive results.
